Due to several matchmaking issues, Capcom has decided to postpone the Resident Evil Resistance Open Beta Test on PlayStation 4 and Steam. As players couldn’t join games, Capcom said earlier this morning that they’re aware of the situation, a promising tweet informed players that developers were working on a fix for the bug. A few hours later, Capcom Japan announced that the Open Beta Test was unable to be supported due to a bug.
Resident Evil Resistance Open Beta Test for Steam has also been postponed, only Xbox One players can enjoy the game at the moment.
We are very sorry for those who are looking forward to it and for those who have been waiting for the resumption, but we will postpone the open beta test on PlayStation 4 to investigate the cause.
Also, the open beta test for the Steam version, which was scheduled to start on March 28, will be postponed as well.As soon as the cause has been investigated and corrected, we will be informed again.

Resident Evil Resistance is Capcom’s new asymmetrical 4 vs 1 multiplayer mode. In Resistance, the Mastermind will secretly kidnap young people for the purpose of data gathering. He will force these youths into desperate situations, the Mastermind aims to gather valuable research data on how the subjects respond to fear. The Mastermind will not face the Survivors directly. Instead, they observe through the security cameras, setting traps to prevent their escape.
These youngsters are called the survivors, they only have one objective: escape. Survivors will need to use their unique skills effectively to cover each other and defeat the creatures together. Cooperation and coordination are vital to success.
