Riot Games’ In-Development Shooter Get Screenshots Leaked

Riot Games is producing a tactical shooter, not much information about the so called Project A has been disclosed. But recently, a Twitter user who goes by the name @ValorantTheGame shared a screenshot taken from the game.

In the screenshot a hero select screen is displayed, and it reveals that at least six characters will be featured in the final release of the game. The hero pictured is called Sage, she is a sentinel, her skills and abilities reveals that she is a support character. According to reports the game is a mixture between Team Fortress 2 and Overwatch.

Tensa, a professional Overwatch player, also tweeted about Sage. With Riot bringing professional Counter-Strike players like HenryG out to see the game, it’s possible Tensa and other Overwatch pros have also spent time with Project A — making Tensa’s tweet the closest thing we have to confirmation of Sage’s existence.

Riot Games’ Project A was announced last year during a streaming event that  celebrated its 10th Anniversarys, other announcements that took place on that day include a new fighting game and a new e-Sports Management Sim.

Riot Games was founded in 2006 by Brandon Beck and Marc Merrill with the intent to change the way video games are made and supported for players. In 2009, Riot released its debut title League of Legends to worldwide acclaim. The game has since gone on to become the one of the most played PC games and shortly became a key driver of the explosive growth of esports. Players are the foundation of our community and it’s for them we continue to evolve and improve the League of Legends experience.
