Riptide GP Renegade – Gameplay Trailer

Riptide GP Renegade – Gameplay Trailer

Riptide GP: Renegade drops players into a futuristic world of illicit hydro jet racing, where armored riders kick out death-defying stunts over massive waterfalls, outrun cops, and boost at breakneck speeds across surging waves.  With a deep career mode and both split screen and online multiplayer, Riptide GP: Renegade is the first game in the popular racing series designed especially for modern consoles.

Vector Unit promises a lot more than what we have previously seen in the Riptide GP franchise. The game will have Next Gen Water Racing with more advanced dynamic water racing experience, enhanced water physics, and more realistic splash effects. In addition, the game will contain more interesting environments that include interactive elements, secret shortcuts, and better designed obstacles.

While the console versions are looking mightily impressive, Vector Unit says that the console version should feature the same tracks and gameplay, just with visuals scaled down for mobile devices. The plan is for the studio to launch the game for console and desktop first, with the mobile version following very shortly after if all goes to plan. There’s no release date quite yet.

The game will come out this spring 2016 for Xbox One, PS4, Win10, Steam and Mobile.
