Tripwire Interactive announced the critically acclaimed multiplayer, roguelike, action combat racer Road Redemption to consoles.
Tripwire Interactive will expand its role as a world class games publisher, partnering with developers EQ-Games and Pixel Dash Studios EQ-Games and Pixel Dash, and together are putting the pedal to the metal, moving full speed ahead to bring multiplayer motorcycle mayhem to the PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system, the Nintendo Switch system, and Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft.
Road Redemption finds players leading a biker gang on an epic journey across the United States in a driving combat road rage adventure.

“Earn money by completing races, assassinations, robberies, and other challenges. As you collect loot, players will be able to upgrade their character, bike, and weapons to build up the ultimate road warrior. Complete with a huge single-player campaign, dozens of weapons, full 4-player co-op split-screen, and online multiplayer, Road Redemption marks a return to those halcyon days of brutal, arcade-style, action racing.

Driving a motorcycle at 100 mph while trying to hit someone with a pipe is dangerous, and death can come quickly. There are no extra lives nor continues. Fortunately, every time you die, all the experience you’ve collected can be used to upgrade your character, your bike, and your weapons.
In the multiplayer mode, you can work with your friends or fight against them. It’s up to you.
Tripwire Interactive is an American video game developer based in Roswell, Georgia, formed by members of the international team that created Unreal Tournament 2004 mod Red Orchestra: Combined Arms. Red Orchestra won top prize in the Nvidia-sponsored Make Something Unreal competition. Their first retail product, Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45, was released over Valve Corporation’s Steam service on March 14, 2006. They are also a licensee of Epic’s Unreal Engine 3.
Tripwire’s second game, Killing Floor, was released on May 14, 2009. Like Red Orchestra, this game also began development as a Unreal Tournament 2004 mod, later becoming a standalone retail title.”
