Rockstar Games’ Senior Character Artist, Emil Mujanovic, has confirmed that he is currently working for an ‘unannounced game’ at Rockstar, adding up to the hype of a possible announcement of Grand Theft Auto VI.
Unfortunately, Mujanovic is not sharing more information about the game he has been working for since February 2020. It’s now being debated on Reddit if Rockstar Games is now producing Grand Theft Auto VI, however, fans also expect that Bully 2 to be also in development.
Back in April 2020, Jason Schreier confirmed the development of Grand Theft Auto VI through information leaked from Rockstar Games’ insiders. According to what Schreier was told, Rockstar opted for a different approach in the next installment of GTA, the game will release on a much smaller scale compared to GTA V, the game would later be expanded through DLC.
In January 2020, Darion Lowenstein, an experienced developer who worked at Activision, Scopely, Electronic Arts, and Rockstar, expects that Rockstar Games will announce Grand Theft Auto VI sometime this year. Rockstar Games is actually producing a new game, this was suggested by the company’s appeal to the Video Games Tax Relief with HMRC.

In early 2020, an alleged leaker affirmed that the world map of GTAVI will be featuring three states and two major cities, Carcer City (Based on Boston and the East Coast of USA) and Vice City (Miami, Florida). An abundance of towns, waterfronts, and suburbs are expected to be present.
Another rumor from an allegedly former Rockstar employee indicates that Grand Theft Auto VI’s world map will be very similar to San Andreas, featuring three major cities and one small town. The main difference from the PS2 title is that the map will be as big as “Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption 2 combined”.
