The people wanted it, so the people got it. Call of Duty 4 will be remastered, but Activision didn’t say what the remastered version would include, some new rumors about what the game will include have begun surfacing.
The remastered version of Call of duty 4: Modern Warfare was “confirmed” yesterday by Activision, but they did not say anything on what the game would include.
Today, the people on NeoGaf spotted a marketing image for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare had surfaced online which included some information about the Modern Warfare remaster. Apparently the remaster will include the full single player campaign as well as ten multiplayer maps.
The leaked image also showed that the next Call of Duty will be released in two editions; the Standard which will only include the new game and a Legacy edition which will include both the new and the old game.
Remember: this is still just a rumor and Activision has not expressively announced Infinite Warfare yet, nor have they released any official information on what the remaster will include.
Take a look:
“The image is rumoured to have originated from Canada, given the combination of the ESRB rating, date format and dollar price. If it is fake, though, it’s unclear where the higher-resolution artwork has come from. The only Infinite Warfare artwork to appear online so far has been a much lower-resolution image supposedly posted on Snapchat.”
