Update:
The rumor below has information taken from a now-deleted video of supposed leaked details on a new Fable title. However, the video appeared to be from a 3D artist demo reel and was being labeled as “in-game footage” for the new Fable. This leads us to believe that the current rumor was indeed false and should be taken with a huge grain of salt.
We’ll be sure to keep you posted on any other details regarding this rumor.
Original Post
After recent rumors and leaks have been swirling around the possibility of a new Fable title in the works, one more bit of potentially leaked information has been shared. The leak comes from Reddit user LagSwag1 which was nabbed by a now-deleted video post.
Here’s the list of supposed details for the currently unannounced new Fable title:
- First and third-person perspectives
- In-depth character customization
- A completely open-world
- No more guns
- You can completely ignore the main quest and never become the hero.
- You can build a town. This ties into the game’s main quest and the game’s ending.
- Multiplayer
- Created using Unreal Engine
It should be noted that this is all merely a rumor an should be taken extremely lightly. We also received another leak a couple of weeks ago claiming the new rumored Fable title will be a reboot of the series along with a leak of the game appearing on Mixer.
We shouldn’t have to wait much longer as E3 is right around the corner and if such a game exists, we’ll likely hear about it then.
