Having just been announced by Sony that the giant manufacturer will not be attending next’s year E3 there is huge speculation among fans whether if this move might be in anticipation of a bigger announcement, being that the Sony PlayStation 5. Reddit user RuthenicCookie is claiming to know a few detail and facts respecting the PS5.
According to RuthenicCookie, PlayStation Experience will return next year with Sony unveiling the PlayStation 5. RuthenicCookie also affirms that Sony might do a confirmation in order to increase the anticipation for the console in mid-2019. RuthenicCookie claims that some developers already has been working with PS5 dev kits. The leaker refers to the PS5 dev kits as “Monsters” leading Reddit users to think that it’s not probably for the system’s size but the ability to support 4k resolutions at 60 FPS.
Read below some of the comments that RuthenicCookie left on Reddit:
“PS experience returning, Most devs already have dev kits for ps5 ( Spoiler: It’s a monster), Sony prepping hard for ps5 and one of the reason for no e3 next year because they blew all their load this year and got nothing new to show next year (They want to show new stuff at psx)”
“Remember the very first ps4 reveal ? Something like that but hey then again Plans might change”
Note that these are all rumors for now, but one with merit given Kotaku’s own Jason Schreier mentions that based on his “conversations with developers across the industry,” he expects the PS5 to make its way out in 2020.
Like all rumors we should take this with a grain of salt, but RuthenicCookie has already recently claimed that Sony wouldn’t be attending E3 2019 and this turned up to be true, he says that Sony might change its plans for the announcement.
