Rumor: The Order 1886 Will Be Getting a Sequel, Says Sucker Punch’s Writer

It’s been a while that we haven’t heard anything new about Ready At Dawn, the studio behind The Order 1886, though they’ve previously confirmed that there’s a new project under development at the studio. While we don’t know what is exactly the team’s next project, one of the writers at Sucker Punch has revealed that it’s the sequel for The Order 1886, though he then denied it.

Jordan Mychal Lemos, the man who works on Ghost of Tsushima as a writer at Sucker Punch, has talked to The Gamerheads recently through a podcast. During the podcast Lemos goes over different things, including The Order 1886. Lemos called it as a game that everyone should play since there’s a sequel on the way to come. Regarding that Lemos is working for a first-party studio of Sony, it’s possible for him to know more than us about the company’s under-development titles and that’s why his claim could turn out to be true even if he tries to deny it.

Soon after the rumor has gone viral, Lemos justified his claim by saying that he just only quoted some of the rumors in the past and he actually doesn’t have any clue on the upcoming title from Ready At Dawn. However, even if he has revealed it based on confidential information, he has to deny it until the studio or publisher officially announce the new project. So, while we suggest you to take it with a grain of salt, there’s still a little hope that the claim might be true.
