SNK has recently announced that Samurai Shodown will be releasing for Xbox Series X|S on March 16, 2021. The new version will feature three new playable characters, a smarter AI, and 120 fps support on Series X.

Also known as Samurai Spirits, SNK introduced the franchise in 1993, and ever since, it has been one of the biggest fighting games in Japan, with SNK developing multiples iterations over the past two decades.
