The upcoming Samurai Shodown reboot is officially headed to a worldwide release next month and SNK is still busy showing off all of the fighters present in the game’s roster. One of the latest fighters to be introduced in the upcoming game is the heavy-handed kitana wielding Genjuro.

Genjuro is one of 16 fighters who will appear on the Samurai Shodown roster once it release next month. We’ve already seen a handful of fighters in their own personal trailer within the last month or so, including Charlotte, Ukyo Tachibana, Shiki, Darli Dagger and Nakoruru. There will also be four more fighters to arrive via the game’s post-launch season pass DLC.
It was also announced yesterday that the western release has officially been given a release date of June 25, 2019 for the Xbox One and PS4. Both the Switch and PC versions are scheduled to arrive in Q4 of 2019.
Old-school fans can also get their hands on the NeoGeo Collection of Samurai Shodown which is slated to release this coming fall.
