The reboot of SNK’s Samurai Shodown is set to release next month, and as we slink closer to release we’re beginning to see all of the fighters in action. We’ve already witnessed a few fighters with their own personal character trailers, and today we get one more. The twin katana wielder Shiki is shown off and showcases her quick moves and sharp abilities.
Check out the Shiki character trailer below:
Shiki has no recollection of her past only remembering her name. While dual wielding blades, Shiki presents a deadly fighting style which originally debuted in Samurai Shodown 64.
Along with Shiki, we’ve also been shown three other characters in their own trailers, including Nakoruru, Ukyo Tachibana and newcomer Darli Dagger. There’s said to be 16 fighters on the roster with three of those being new to the series. It’s also been stated that there will be four additional characters added as apart of the post-launch season pass.
Samurai Shodown is set to release this June for the Ps4 and Xbox One, with Switch and PC versions coming near the end of 2019.
