The upcoming reboot of the acclaimed Samurai Shodown series is now nearly one month away and developer SNK has been eager to keep the ball rolling in terms of hype. While we’ve received plenty of character trailer recently, one more has released this time showing off one of the new fighters joining the roster, Yashamaru Kurama.

Yashamaru is character trailer number eight as fans of the series have already seen fighters such as Haohmaru, Nakoruru, Charlotte, Shiki, Ukyo Tachibana, Genjuro and fellow newcomer Darli Dagger.
Samurai Shodown is set to release in the west on June 25, 2019 for the PS4 and Xbox One. Both a PC and Switch version will release in Q4 2019. And old-school fans of the series will also be able to get their hands on the NeoGeo Collection of the series this coming fall which is set to release on the PS4, Xbox One, PC and Switch.
