Scuf Unveils Controllers For Xbox Series X

Third-party controller manufacture Scuf has unveiled two premium controllers that is available for the Xbox Series X|S, known as the Instinct and Instinct Pro. Starting at $170 these controllers are high-end alternatives for games looking for a competitive edge in their game, as well as more customization options than a normal controller.

The controller is available to order now both through the Scuf website and will be available through other online retailers like Amazon soon. While we were not lucky enough to grab the controller yet multiple other sites have placed the Instinct and Instinct Pro as two of the best controllers you can own for the Xbox. Many also suggest they are better than the first-party Elite Controller.

Both models have four paddles on the back that can be quickly mapped using the profile button. Up to three profiles can be placed on the controller with swapping between them being as simple as a button push. The controller arrives with an 8-way d-pad that can be swapped for a traditional 4-way. Similarly, the analog sticks can be switched out and the controllers will come with longer sticks if you prefer. These switches can be made by removing the magnetic face plate on the controller.

The two models will also include the share button now standard on Xbox wireless controllers. They are also noticeably smaller than their previous entry into the Xbox pro controller scene, the Prestige controller.

The Instinct Pro will cost $200 compared to the $170 for the base Instincts and includes some additional features. This will include trigger locks and textured grips. The company will also sell additional parts for the controllers separately. What exactly can be expected from these additions has yet to be seen.
