RARE has released a new trailer for the upcoming Sea of Thieves Season 2. The update will launch on April 15 but the content of the update is surrounded by mystery.
The British studio didn’t reveal much for Season 2, but we can expect some minor tweaks to the template of the previous season. Season 2 should offer a three-months of special events and updates established around a new battle pass.
Season 2 will add new items and rewards to work toward, the progression system for the various activities will also be reset.

Players can also expect another 100 levels of rewards in the free tier, premium players can earn a small selection of Pirate Emporium goodies, exclusive cosmetics, and more via the Plunder Pass.
Sea of Thieves recently celebrated its third anniversary and its 20 million players. The game has been a success for Xbox Game Pass and Rare. As part of the celebration, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members can claim the Sea of Thieves Ocean Crawler Bundle for free until June 18.
