During this year’s Evo 2019 Tournament, SNK revealed new details regarding their recent reboot release for Samurai Shodown. Along with outlining the remaining first year Season Pass schedule for the upcoming four add-on fighters, fans also received the reveal of the second Season Pass for the game set to debut next year.
Along with the four additional DLC characters added as apart of the first Season Pass, a fifth character will be added as a free DLC. A new fighter will be introduced each month until December, with the first character Rimururu arriving sometime this month.
The remaining schedule for Samurai Shodown’s DLC characters is as follows:
Following the conclusion of the final first Season Pass character in December, SNK will roll out the second Season Pass which will include four more characters to the game in 2020. The first character for the second Season Pass has been revealed as Mina Majikina who will arrive at some point in 2020.
Samurai Shodown released this passed June for the PS4 and Xbox One while the Switch and PC versions are set to release in Q4 of 2019.
