It seems this year’s Gamescom is going to be the biggest one. While some of the developers and publishers didn’t come to E3 2019 full-armed, it seems they were securing some great unveils for Gamescom, Europe’s most important gaming expo. This year, Geoff Keighly is to host a livestream ahead of Gamescom 2019 called Opening Night Live. The show will be featuring new details on some of the most anticipated titles of the year, including Death Stranding. But before we get to watch the show, SEGA is supposed to unveil a triple-A project for the first time.
The announcement will be happening right before ONL goes live. There’s no clue on what SEGA is to reveal on August 19 but it’s going to be a huge project that might be aimed to be released next year or even on next-gen platforms. Also, SEGA will be bringing the gameplay demo for several titles to Gamescom 2019, where all attendees will be able to play them for the first time.
In other news, it’s been confirmed that a new trailer for Death Stranding will be shown during Opening Night Live with Hideo Kojima himself making an appearance at the show. Also, at the same day, Google will be streaming a new episode of Stadia Connect to share more details on its new platform’s launch.
