Nowadays, it’s really hard to find a AAA game that doesn’t need a huge amount of free space to get installed on your device. Do you even remember the last AAA game in the current generation that requires less than 20 GB of storage? If your hard drive is full enough that you cannot even think about purchasing of a new game, you better change your mind about Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.
According to Sekiro’s profile on Microsoft Store, the game will require just 13 GB to be stored and installed on Xbox One. It’s not clear yet what would be the size for PS4, but the PC version of the game will need 25 GB of free space, which is much more than the Xbox version.
By the way, it’s something that From Software always had a good effort on, as their latest releases like Dark Souls 3 and Dark Souls: Remastered require less than 20 GB on Xbox One. Besides, it seems Microsoft’s current-gen console provides a bit more possibility for developers to release their titles with more compacted file size.
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is set to be released on March 22 and to get hyped even more, don’t miss the launch trailer of the game that arrived yesterday. For more details on Miyazaki’s latest title, make sure to follow daily news on Gaming Instincts and also subscribe to our Youtube channel.
