Handelabra Games, an independent video game developer with offices in Ohio and Nova Scotia, announced the launch of a Kickstarter campaign supporting Season 2 of its highly popular Sentinels of the Multiverse comic-book themed, cooperative, card brawler available on Steam, iOS and Android.
Season 2 of Sentinels of the Multiverse will continue building upon the innovative gameplay and intriguing storylines set forth in the studio’s critically-acclaimed previous release. But, Season 2 also brings change, the Villains of the Multiverse are ascendant, have banded together and can now battle cooperatively greatly altering the balance of power.

The Season 2 Kickstarter for Sentinels of the Multiverse will support the initial release of the long-awaited Vengeance expansion followed by Villains of the Multiverse, Mini Pack 4, Void Guard and OblivAeon.
The Sentinels of the Multiverse comic book theme, cooperative multiplayer interaction and card battle gameplay combine to create one of today’s most original gaming experiences – one where players fight through the pages of an actual comic book story. The game itself takes place in the world of Sentinel Comics, a new and exciting comic universe created by Christopher Badell and Adam Rebottaro.
Handelabra Games’ Sentinels of the Multiverse: The Video Game was then faithfully adapted from the popular Sentinels of the Multiverse Card Game from Greater Than Games recreating the rules and gameplay precisely, but streamlining the experience for digital play.
In Sentinels of the Multiverse, players take control of up to five heroes, including the ever stalwart Legacy, the inpenetrable Bunker, and the speedy Tachyon among many others, in cooperative battles against super-powered villains and their countless card-based minions and abilities, such as the infamous Baron Blade, the rampaging Grand Warlord Voss and the evil AI Omnitron.
The battle environments themselves are also entirely unpreditable and often hostile places that can dramatically swing the tide of battle at any moment with the introduction of a cataclysmic event or angry local denizen. Players can harness those environmental forces to their own ends, battle them directly or even ignore them entirely, but at great personal risk. Players can also engage in “Weekly One Shots,” special weekly scenarios for the entire community, that reward players with virtual comic covers from Sentinel Comics.
