Shadow of the Beast, the re-imagining of the classic Amiga action game, will finally launch for PS4 via PSN on May 17, developer Heavy Spectrum has announced.
Over the past few month, Heavy Spectrum has been tweaking the game. It is now targeting 60 frames per second, and combat has been fine-tuned “from top to bottom.” The game’s protagonist Aarbron has received upgrades, as well, and is now equipped with some mystic artefacts that add “much more depth” to gameplay.
Shadow of the Beast will be available for pre-order soon via the PlayStation Store. Pre-orders include a PlayStation 4 dynamic theme.
