Shadow of the Tomb Raider Gets Nvidia RTX Support

Tomb Raider’s modern trilogy started to roll out as of 2013 with a critically acclaimed reboot which developed by Crystal Dynamics. Shadow of the Tomb Raider was the last title of the long-running franchise that released for current-gen consoles last year. Aside from it’s mostly positive reviews, the game has also featured eye-catching graphics and stunning motion captures that really takes you to the heart of a breath-taking adventure with Lara Croft.

PC gamers who own an Nvidia RTX graphics card, will be able to enjoy even more realistic visuals in the game, with the release of new patch for Shadow of the Tomb Raider that adds RTX support to the PC versions of it. According to the list of changes that are coming with the patch, it’s been noted that RTX support, which brings Ray-Tracing capability to the games, will be approachable for PC gamers.

Ray-Tracing is the latest technology that Nvidia offers with new series of its graphics cards. This technology allows your PC to render high-quality reflections on smooth surfaces, so that you will be able to see stunning visuals that boasting the power within your graphics card. Shadow of the Tomb Raider is one of the first games to feature Ray-Tracing option. The game is now available for PS4, PC and Xbox One. It has also added to Xbox Game Pass recently, makes it much easier for Xbox One owners to play the game.
