Shattered – Tale of the Forgotten King is Now 100% Funded on Kickstarter
It was announced by Redlock Studio, that they have just reached their initial funding goal of €80k on Kickstarter for their debut game Shattered – Tale of the Forgotten King. The Square Enix team was streaming the game on Twitch (as the Square Enix Collective has been supporting this Kickstarter campaign) when the announcement was made. With 5 days left on the campaign, Redlock Studio hopes to reach additional funding to release on consoles and create additional content.

“Playing as the Wanderer in this dark action-RPG and platformer, you will discover key lore in 2.5D platforming phases, which will lead you to different endings depending on your in-game choices and help you find ways to defeat 12 Demiurges (and other foes) in dynamic 3D battles.
Maxime René, Redlock Studio’s Creative Director said that “reaching this first funding goal is opening a lot of opportunities for us – all this thanks to the community that helped us get to this point. We’re now focused on the last few days of the campaign, to increase the scope of the project and realise our dream of making Shattered! It’s a big first step for the gigantic universe we’re hoping to develop, for (and with) the community.”

Shattered – Tale of the Forgotten King is will be released on PC and Mac in 2018; there are also plans to make it available on PS4 and Xbox One.
