The world’s greatest detective will once again be gracing consoles in the latest outing, The Devil’s Daughter, May 27 on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
The eighth Sherlock Holmes game from Ukranian studio Frogwares, Sherlock Holmes: The Devil’s Daughter, is a few short months away, but we’re only just now seeing a trailer for the game. The first offering, a gameplay-free cinematic take on the consulting detective’s new adventure, was revealed today by publisher Bigben Interactive.
Aside from conveying a darker tone, the trailer doesn’t offer much additional insight into what the latest interactive adventure for Holmes might entail.
Check out the Trailer:
“According to the info provided in the official announcement, this next game will feature 5 complex cases with multiple suspects and plot-changing decisions, dark story themes, open, freely explorable terrain, and occassinal action sequences. The first footage from the game is going to be shown to the press at Paris Games Week (October 28 – November 1). It also seems that Sherlock Holmes: The Devil’s Daughter will sport visibly better graphics. Sure, the first three pictures posted on the publisher’s website are obviously tweaked to look nice, but they still are pretty impressive, especially if you remember the last couple of Sherlock Holmes games.”
