Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse Launch Edition

Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse Launch Edition

A couple weeks ago Atlus announced plans to bring Shin Megami Tensei IV: Final to Nintendo 3DS in the Americas as Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse. Those who pick up an early copy can look forward to nabbing the Launch Edition version, which packs the game with three metal pins that are each about .75″ in diameter.

The medallions let people add Dagda’s mark, the peace sign, and the anarchy emblem pins to anything they’d like. As a reminder, Dagda is the demon that makes a binding contract with Nanashi, the game’s hero, after Nanashi falls in battle.

Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse overlaps the story of the original Shin Megami Tensei IV and stars a Hunter cadet protagonist who gets killed by a demon in post-apocalyptic Tokyo. However, a god named Dagda resurrects him in exchange for his loyalty, and sets him on a path that treads a fine line between peace and anarchy.

Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse will be available in summer 2016 for the Nintendo 3DS.

“Just like pretty much all other Atlus games on Nintendo 3DS, Shin Megami Tensei IV Apocalyspe will get a Launch Edition in North America Unfortunately, this one is nowhere near as nice as the one for Shin Megami Tensei IV, even though the price is the same ($49.99/CA$64.99).”
