The Evil Within series is a one of the more popular survival horror series in this generation. With the first Evil within being a hit as you play as a detective trying to survive the mind of a psychopath, fans have been happy of where the series went. The game continues with the Evil Within 2 in 2017 where you must enter the STEM world once more after finding out your daughter is stuck in it. It’s a trippy horror experience that is not seen anywhere else, and just about everything can happen in this world.
With these two games meeting a fairly successful launch, fans have been wondering where the series will go next. Will we continue our adventures through the STEM, or witness a new evil. Well it looks like we might get some new info on the new game soon as famous Horror video game director Shinji Mikami of Tango Gameworks has tweeted that he will be attending E3 2019.
What has Mikami been working on since the release of Evil Within 2? Are there other projects Mikami could be working on or will there be something else? Since we know that he’s made the whole Evil Within series, it can be assumed that he might make some sort of announcement regarding it.
Bethesda will be holding their E3 2019 conference on Sunday June 9th at 8:30 EST. So this is probably the event that will announce anything Evil Within related. So is Mikami making another horror game, or is he making something completely new? If anything we’ll have to wait on Mikami to possibly make some more tweets regarding his E3 2019 visit. If not that at the very least Bethesda will probably announce news for Tango Gameworks’ horror franchise.
