Publisher 2K and developer Firaxis Games have announced that the next main line game in the Sid Meier’s Civilization franchise is currently in development. The publisher also announced that Fixaxis Games studio head Steve Martin will leave the studio after 25 years and will be replaced with chief operating officer Heather Hazen. XCOM franchise and Marvel’s Midnight Suns creative director Jake Solomon will also leave the studio after over 20 years at Firaxis Games.
