Silent Hill 2 Remake Game Length Revealed

Creative Director for the upcoming Silent Hill 2 remake recently confirmed on Twitter that the first playthrough for Silent Hill 2 will take about 16 to 18 hours on average. However, if you enjoy spending time “searching for everything that we put into the game and things we’ve hidden for you, it will take you more than 20 hours,” he said. Silent Hill 2 will launch on October 8 for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam. Several changes in the remake were also revealed.

The game’s details:

Having received a letter from his deceased wife, James heads to where they shared so many memories, in the hope of seeing her one more time: Silent Hill. There, by the lake, he finds a woman eerily similar to her…

“My name…is Maria,” the woman smiles. Her face, her voice… She’s just like her.
