During the recent Silent Hill Transmission live stream event, Konami and Taiwanese developer NeoBards Entertainment announced a new game titled Silent Hill f via a cinematic trailer. The game is written by Ryukishi07, who also wrote the Higurashi When They Cry visual novel series. It also features character designs by Kera and is produced by Motoi Okamoto. While not much has been revealed about the game, it will be a completely new story set in 1960s Japan featuring a beautiful yet horrifying world.”Additionally, Konami, in partnership with Genvid, Behaviour Interactive, Bad Robot Games, and dj2 Entertainment, announced a new interactive streaming series based on the Silent Hill franchise titled Silent Hill: Ascension, where the players and the community “shapes the canon of Silent Hill.” Lastly, publisher Annapurna Interactive and developer No Code, in association with Konami, announced a new game titled Silent Hill: Townfall. An announcement teaser trailer was revealed, but not much else is known about the game so far.
