Six Days in Fallujah Gets New Gameplay Trailer

The recently revived Six Days in Fallujah has received a new gameplay trailer revealing some of the horror stories of veterans during war. The polemic game will be released for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5 later this year.

The new Six Days in Fallujah gameplay trailer video features US military veteran Sgt. Jason Kyle and the developers at Victoria and Highwire Games shared more insight into the game’s development

Highwire Games also announced today that Six Days in Fallujah will feature technology built by the developer called Procedural Architecture, which “re-shapes the entire battlefield each time the game is played,” essentially assembling entire cities procedurally.

Check the gameplay trailer down below:

“Sometimes the only way to understand what’s true is to experience reality for yourself,” says former Marine Sergeant Eddie Garcia, who was wounded during the Battle for Fallujah and proposed the original idea for Six Days in Fallujah in 2005. “War is filled with uncertainty and tough choices that can’t be understood by watching someone on a TV or movie screen make these choices for you. Video games can help all of us understand real-world events in ways other media can’.

In an attempt to incentivize players to understand the “uncertainty and danger of urban combat,” the development team at Victoria and Highwire Games have spent over three years building their Procedural Architecture technology, creating a living breathing world, the technology when matches with the dynamic AI and modern audio technology makes the player feel like the game does not remain static.

Six Days in Fallujah was initially in pre-production for the seventh generation of consoles and their PC equivalent, Konami was working on a game that narrated the stories of U.S. veterans during the Iraq War. The game was originally planned as a tactical military shooter based on real-world events. The development team was established by the very best developers from Bungie who had previously work on Halo.
