It was announced by Ukuza that after almost 2 years of steadfast development efforts, along with indie developer David Stanley, they released the latest iteration of their demo for Skelattack! The 2D action platformer has a ton of new content to show off in its newest playable version. A slew of new NPCs, updated and unfamiliar environments, and a healthy amount of polish all culminate into the truest vision of this title before its final launch on Jaunary 19th of next year.
Check out the gameplay trailer of Skelattack, featuring some gameplay footage with a 90’s style:
“Players will get their first crack at a new environment known as “The Greenery”, a lush subterranean forest full of exciting obstacles and malevolent enemies. They will also encounter some new story-enhancing NPCs offering up fresh world-building dialogue. Players will then be able to access “The Hub”, a room which will offer entry to all other areas of the game. Here, one will also find a newly refurbished death counter (because we all need to be reminded how many times our friend Skully has shuffled loose his mortal coil), opportunities to swap off and try new magic spells, and a blacksmith all too eager to show off his wares. Particle effects and ambient sounds fill each and every corner of these maps, presenting the most immersive and intriguing build of Skully and Imber’s dungeon home yet.
The demo will be released for both PC and Mac through the Skelattack website and its final release will be available for PC/Mac/Linux/Xbox One in late January of next year.”
