Sailing with huge ships and fighting against other factions during sea battles, made its way through Ubisoft’s titles with Assassin’s Creed 3 and take over a bigger role in gameplay in Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. However, evolving sea battles in a franchise like Assassin’s Creed couldn’t get further, as it was just a part of the stealth-action game’s activities. So Ubisoft has decided to use the potential in developing a title exclusively for naval wars. Skull & Bones is exactly what gamers wanted from the French publisher, but it seems the game has still a long way to reach the end of development process.
Recently, producer of Skull & Bones Karl Luhe announced via Twitter that in order to meet the expectations in terms of quality, the game will see a delay in release date and as a result, it won’t appear at E3 2019. Regarding that the last details we get about the game were at last year’s E3 event, fans might get disappointed with the studio’s delay in revealing new features and gameplay videos of its upcoming online title.
For those who are not familiar with the game, Skull & Bones takes you to Indian Ocean where you will make your own ships and crew to attack other players and rob them in shared world, in which every action has a tangible consequence in the world for other players. While the core base of gameplay is set for co-op experience, you are also able to play it solo.
