Slime Rancher 2 Now in Early Access, Sells 100,000 Units in Less Than 6 Hours

Developer Monomi Park recently released a new trailer announcing the Early Access launch of its farming sim and sequel to Slime Rancher, Slime Rancher 2. The game is available now via early access on PC via Steam Early Access and Epic Games Store, as well as on Xbox Series X/S via Game Preview. According to the developer, the game will remain in early access for “at least 18 months, potentially longer,” and will launch with a “big world to explore, many different slimes to collect and combine, and an introduction to the game story and the mystery behind Rainbow Island.” The full release will feature new locations, more slimes, gadgets, resources, and more. Co-founder and CEO Nick Popovich also took to Twitter to announce that the game had sold  100,000 Units in Less Than 6 Hours.

Slime Rancher 2 is a sequel to the award-winning, smash-hit original that has been enjoyed by over 10 million fans worldwide.
