First entry in Sniper Elite franchise released in 2005. A third person shooter action game set in World War II that follows the story of Karl Faiborne, who tries to stop developing of V-2 missiles during the recent days of the big war. In 2012, Rebellion decided to release a remake version of their 6th-gen game and now in 2019, the remake version is going to be remastered again to get released for current-gen hardware.
According to Rebellion, Sniper Elite V2 Remastered will support HDR technology along with 4K resolution on both PC and consoles. Besides, Remastered version will feature new characters in multiplayer mode as well as all the DLCs that the game has been received before. Now, the team behind Sniper Elite V2 has released some gorgeous screenshots that showcase the progression in visual quality of the game.
Rebellion has not made it clear yet that which platforms will be targets for Sniper Elite V2 and no release date has been announced yet. In other news from Rebellion’s press release, the British studio teased it’s next title for upcoming generation of consoles and confirmed an Ultimate version of Sniper Elite 3 for Nintendo Switch owners.
