Sony Announces State Of Play Livestream Set For This Week

The second State of Play event from Sony has been announced for this week. With the announcement also came a bit of confirmation on what to expect form the event, and what not to expect.

Sony revealed that viewers will get an extended look at the upcoming MediEvil Remake, a debut look at a new title and some other upcoming update and announcements. Sony also confirmed that the show will only last around 10 minutes, so we’re expecting a quick preview of new titles with nothing too in-depth.

The new State of Play (episode 2) will also not contain any news regarding the next generation for the Sony brand, so that should hold expectations relatively low.

What we can expect, though, is hopefully an official release date for the MediEvil Remake along with some exciting looks at other titles, most likely VR. Recently, a leak cited that we will be seeing more on Last of Us Part II before E3, however, this event being so short it would be surprising if we saw anything on the title. But, it might not be too far out of the realm of possibility.

State of Play Episode 2 is scheduled to air on May 9, 2019 at 3PM PT/6PM ET. You can watch the livestream at their Twitch, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube channels.
