Sony Group Corporation Plans to Acquire Kadokawa Corporation

According to a recent Reuters report, Sony Group Corporation plans to acquire the Kadokawa Corporation and is currently in talks. Both parties could reportedly finalize a deal in the coming weeks if all goes well. Additionally, according  to the outlet Nikkei, negotiations are currently in the early stages.The Kadokawa corporation is a conglomerate that is involved with several media, publishers, and franchises. It is the parent company of Spike Chunsoft, and FromSoftware, the developer of Elden Ring.
