According to Jeff Grubb on a recent episode of Game Mess Decides podcast, Sony is considering hosting a PlayStation Showcase sometime in summer. “I think internally it sounds like they’re debating, flopping between making something in the summer a full showcase, versus another State of Play,” said Grubb. “But they are considering a showcase. And if they have a showcase, that means that they’ll have a lot of stuff to talk about. And at that point, you would definitely expect to see [Marvel’s] Wolverine and a lot of other games that could come out next year.” The latest State of Play event was hosted on February 12 and featured several updates and announcements regarding games coming to PlayStation 5.

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach sees Norman Reedus, Léa Seydoux, and Troy Baker return to Hideo Kojima’s genre defying universe. They will be joined by Elle Fanning, Shioli Kutsuna, and Academy Award-winning film director George Miller.
Hideo Kojima is joined by longtime collaborator Yoji Shinkawa who will direct character and mechanical design, with Ludvig Forssell and Kyle Cooper reprising their roles as musical director and title designer, respectively.
