Sony has No Plans of a PS4 Pro Price Drop at the Moment

After Microsoft announced the Xbox One X and that it will be priced for $499, many people expected Sony to make a price drop of the PS4 Pro, but in reality Sony isn’t planning on doing that just yet.

Sony Worldwide Studios boss, Shuhei Yoshida admitted during an interview with Jagat Review (via PushSquare) that they have no plans for a PS4 Pro price drop right now.

Check out the interview to Shuhei Yoshida, Sony’s Worldwide Studios Boss:

He stated:

“We are very happy with the quality of the games that are playable on the PS4 Pro, and the feedback that we get back from consumers is also really positive. So, we don’t have any plans to change“.

There is no need for Sony to drop the price of the PS4 Pro yet, since the Xbox One X is still $100 more expensive. The PS4 Pro is $399 and is still selling well alongside the PS4 Slim. Sony would have considered to drop the price of the Ps4 Pro, IF the Xbox One X dropped its price to %399 too.
