Space Hulk: Deathwing celebrates expansive content update with Steam sale

Space Hulk: Deathwing, the FPS from Streum On Studio set in the Warhammer 40K universe, celebrates its latest update today with a sale on Steam. Bringing new weapons and expanded class loadouts to multiplayer, as well as a lengthy list of gameplay and technical improvements, there’s never been a better time to purge Xenos scum!

Based directly on feedback from a passionate community, all classes now have even more choice for what to bring into battle. New to the coop multiplayer, players can burn Genestealers with the purifying fire of the Heavy Flamer, or unleash a devastating salvo of the Hellfire’s explosive rounds! The update also introduces faster load times, performance improvements, Genestealer AI enhancements and much more.

Space Hulk: Deathwing will arrive on consoles later this year as an ENHANCED EDITION including additional content.

The developer Streum On Studio has since then released a number of updates for the game, but the most recent is by far the most substantial. It adds new weapons, expanded class loadouts and makes a raft of technical improvements.

Let’s dig into the detail. Co-op multiplayer now has the Heavy Flamer weapon and the Hellfire’s explosive rounds, which should help make tearing apart the Genestealers a more enjoyable experience.

There are also faster load times and performance improvements, with Genestealer AI enhanced (the AI had felt a tad basic in the game, with not much variation to enemy strategy).
