Special Announcement From Gears For Breakfast Regarding A Hate In Time Incoming

The instant classic, Super Mario inspired 3D platformer, A Hat in Time, has culminated a large fan base and found its ways onto numerous platforms since its release in 2017. However, developers Gears for Breakfast aren’t finished with their Kickstarter funded title, as now it appears they’re planning a “Special Announcement” specifically for the game set for next week.

The tweet from the studio shows off a mysterious image which many fans may find familiar and already has the community taking guesses at what it all means. The game is due out on the Switch later this year, and was recently announced that the Switch version is receiving the DLC which has only been available for the PC version of the game, so far. Maybe this new announcement will confirm that the DLC will be making its way over to other consoles outside of the Switch, such as the PS4 and Xbox One versions. Maybe not.

Or, perhaps we’ll be receiving yet another DLC for the game, stacking on the content for the marvelous platformer. One thing we can definitely rule out – which many fans seemed to be hoping for – is a Super Smash DLC, as a response tweet from the studio rules that out entirely. Maybe we’re finally getting an official release date for the Switch version, which has still yet to be confirmed.

Stay tuned as the Special Announcement for A Hat in Time will be revealed next week on April 25, 2019 at 3PM ET/12PM PT. You can watch the live stream event at their Twitch page.
