Splatoon 3 ‘Expansion Pass – Side Order’ DLC Launches Next Month

Nintendo has announced that Splatoon 3’s next Side Order DLC expansion Pass will launch on February 22. In the DLC, players “wake up to discover Inkopolis Square has been drained of color and its residents have gone missing.” A new cinematic trailer showing the black and white location in the game was also released.  Splatoon 3 is available now for Nintendo Switch.

Challenge yourself to a new single-player campaign, “Side Order!” As Agent 8, you wake up to discover Inkopolis Square has been drained of color and its residents have gone missing. Looming over the city is the ominous Spire of Order. Alongside a drone who claims to be Off the Hook member Pearl, Agent 8 must fight off waves of enemies in floor after floor of challenges on their way to the top of the Spire and learn its secrets. Use color chips to boost your abilities in this experience that’s designed to be replayed over and over.

Dynamic new moves like the Squid Surge and Squid Roll will help you and your fellow Inklings cover more ground and avoid enemy ink. Take aim with the bow-like Stringer and get slash happy with sword-like Splatanas—these new weapon types join an arsenal of fresh special weapons and sub weapons, too. Work together to collect Golden Eggs and fend off brand-new swarms of invading Salmonids in the co-op Salmon Run mode. Tackle a solo adventure alongside a Smallfry companion to solve the mystery of the Fuzzy Ooze in the offline story mode.
