A series of leaks appear to have revealed the official title, release date and a series of screenshots from the much-rumoured Spyro the Dragon remaster collection.
According to an Activision listing on Amazon Mexico, the game will be called Spyro: Reignited Trilogy, has been developed by Skylanders studio Toys for Bob, and will be released on September 21.
Another leak on Amazon India has also all but confirmed that the game is being released on both PS4 and Xbox One, though we wouldn’t be surprised if there’s a Nintendo Switch version in the works too considering the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is headed to the platform this summer.
The Spyro series, which originated on the PlayStation with 1998’s Spyro the Dragon, had gone dormant for a long time before re-emerging in the form of Skylanders, which launched the brief toys-to-games fad of 2011-2016. The first three games in the series, which will all be part of this release, were developed by Insomniac Games, which is now working on Spider-Man for PS4.
After the Amazon Mexico listing was spotted by ResetEra a variety of screenshots leaked from the official website’s servers. You find some of them below:

The trilogy is reportedly coming complete with “100+ levels, remastered with breathtaking graphical updates and improved gameplay controls,” much like what happened with the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy.
Differently from N. Sane Trilogy, though, Reignited Trilogy is being developed at Toys for Bob, the studio known for its work on the Skylanders franchise and the upcoming Nintendo Switch version of the Crash Bandicoot remaster.
Confirming previous rumors, the Spyro remake is said to be coming on September 21 for PS4 at the price of $39,99. Attached to this news you can find the first few screenshots, comparing the original with the remastered edition, and the boxart.
