Square Enix Reveals Marvel’s Avengers
Square Enix during their E3 2019 Press conference revealed a new trailer that introduces us to gameplay, plot, and the heroes of the Avengers.
From the trailer’s description:
“Marvel’s Avengers begins at A-Day, where Captain America, Iron Man, the Hulk, Black Widow, and Thor are unveiling a hi-tech Avengers Headquarters in San Francisco — including the reveal of their own helicarrier powered by an experimental energy source. The celebration turns deadly when a catastrophic accident results in massive devastation. Blamed for the tragedy, the Avengers disband. Five years later, with all Super Heroes outlawed and the world in peril, the only hope is to reassemble Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.
Marvel Entertainment and Square Enix are excited to unveil Marvel’s Avengers, an epic action-adventure game that combines cinematic storytelling with single-player and co-operative gameplay. Developed by Crystal Dynamics in collaboration with Eidos-Montréal, Nixxes Software, and Crystal Northwest, Marvel’s Avengers will release simultaneously for the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, the Xbox One family of devices including Xbox One X, Stadia, and PC on May 15, 2020.”
The interpretation of the characters are based on Crystal Dynamic’s take on the heroes in this single-player/co-op adventure featuring Marevel’s greatest heroes. The game’s playable heroes are Captain America, Hulk, Black Widow, Iron Man, and Thor in this adventure. The cahracters are veing voice-acted by Troy Baker as Bruce Banner, Jeff Schine as Captain America, Travis Willingham as Thor, Laura Bailey as Black Widow, and Nolan North as Tony Stark.
The game is to be an assembly of 4 players online. New Superheroes and new in-game regions will be added at no extra cost which doesn’t include any loot boxes, which is a plus.
The game is going to get first dibs on the game such as bonuses and early access. The game is also set to release on the Xbox One, PC, and Stadia as well as to release on May 15, 2020.
