The Cutlass Red will heal wounded players and will fix ailments, the. Once players lie down Cutlass’s bed they will get healed and a respawn point will be saved.

Lead environment artist Michel Kooper also talked about the process of creating moons, saying it’s more complex and time-consuming in Star Citizen’s early development.

Cloud Imperium Games started the development of Star Citizen back in 2011, by 2012 the developer launched a crowdfunding campaign to make the project leaded by Chris Roberts viable and more ambitious. The campaign was a complete success, receiving over US$250 millions. The game didn’t make it’s 2014 release date as a significant expansion of gameplay features led to the game been completely revamped.

In January 2017, when asked about the financial situation of the game, Chris Roberts said: “I’m not worried, because even if no money came in, we would have sufficient funds to complete Squadron 42. The revenue from this could in-turn be used for the completion of Star Citizen.”

Cloud Imperium is an international independent game company. We’re currently developing Star Citizen, a record-shattering crowd-funded title that combines classic space sim gameplay with amazing visuals; and Squadron 42, a Hollywood-caliber story-driven single-player game set in Star Citizen’s universe.

“With Star Citizen, we are redefining the epic space sim, and setting new standards in transparency and engagement by involving our players in every stage of the game’s development.”
