Publisher Square Enix and developer Gemdrops released a new animated opening movie for the upcoming remake of the action RPG game Star Ocean: The Second Story, Star Ocean: The Second Story R. Like the name suggests, the video features the game’s new opening movie showing several characters featured in the game as well as the theme song “stella” by the Japanese group SUIREN. Star Ocean: The Second Story R will launch on November 2 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam on November 2 worldwide. In the game, players play as “either Claude or Rena. Depending on your choice, the perspectives and the allies you can recruit will change.”
