Star Wars Battlefront ‘Bespin’ DLC Launch Trailer

Star Wars Battlefront ‘Bespin’ DLC Launch Trailer

Season pass holders will have the opportunity to get their hands on the Bespin DLC starting June 21st. It will subsequnetly be released to the public on July 5th.

EA has released the launch trailer for Star Wars: Battlefront – Bespin, the latest DLC pack for the game that will hit on June 21 for fans who picked up the season pass. Everyone else will have to wait two weeks. The new footage shows Lando in action against a fierce attack from the Empire that includes AT-ATs and even the Imperial Royal Guard! Some of those locations will look very familiar to fans who remember the details of Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader’s famous duel. One unlucky stormtrooper even appears to be set up to be frozen in carbonite (Pretty cool ah?)

The video also shows off the new cloud car vehicle and the two new weapons: the X-8 Night Sniper and EE-4 blasters. The Empire even gets a new protagonist of its own, as Dengar the bounty hunter joins the fight to conquer Cloud City. Dengar comes equipped with the DLT-19 heavy blaster, which makes him a very fierce force in the battle.

The expansion is coming for the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of the multiplayer shooter.

Check out the Trailer:

“Bespin will feature five new multiplayer maps, some from film history and others of from the expanded universe. EA says players will “visit iconic locations from the movie, including the platforms, bridges and unforgettable white hallways” of the iconic Cloud City. Maps pulled from the The Empire Strikes Back movie include the Administrator’s Palace and the Carbon-Freezing Chambers. Another map, taken from the now non-canonical Star Wars Legends, is called the Bioniip Laboratories.”
