Star Wars Battlefront – Death Star DLC

Star Wars Battlefront – Death Star DLC

Electronic Arts has detailed a new Battlefront game mode called Battle Station, which will arrive with the game’s incoming Death Star DLC. Despite the game’s rather sparse offerings at launch, it sounds like Battle Station might make returning to Battlefront well worth it for a lot of players.

The player will have to keep their wits about them, with intense battle ensuing from every direction, to keep them and their wingmen alive as they complete a critical mission for the Rebellion”. Once vulnerable, Rebel starfighters can attack the weak spots in an effort to bring the Star Destroyer down. For those on the side of the Empire, the goal is to make use of AI ships to defend the Star Destroyer. Themed on the iconic Death Star, it comes with an all-new mode that sounds like it could be wonderful.

Star Wars Battlefront is out now and is available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

“Aside from Star Wars Battlefront‘s Death Star DLC, developers have announced that the science fiction title’s final expansion pack will be based on the upcoming Rogue One film starring Felicity Jones as the lead role of Jyn Erso and Ben Mendelsohn as Director Orson Krennic, with both characters being featured in the content. Taking all of this into consideration, once Star Wars Battlefront eventually receives all of its post-launch assets, fans ought to expect the new movies beyond the original trilogy to tie in with the game’s upcoming sequel when it releases sometime next year.”
