Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Remake Delayed Indefinitely

According to a new Bloomberg report, developer Aspyr Media has delayed the development of the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic remake indefinitely. The developer reportedly fired the game’s design director Brad Prince and art director Jason Minor earlier this month, shortly after a demo was produced to be shown to production partners Lucasfilm and Sony. The demo reportedly didn’t meet internal expectations, and as a result, work on the game is being paused while the company seeks “new contracts and development opportunities.” The Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic remake was announced back in September 2021 and had been in development for three years for PS5 and PC. It was initially slated to be released by the end of this year.The game’s first details revealed during its initial announcement can be seen below:

And it’s a console exclusive on PlayStation 5 at launch.
