Starbase Officially Announced; From the Developers of Trine Series

The development team behind Trine series and Shadowgrounds has just announced its next title. While the studio still has Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince under development, it revealed Starbase as the next ambitious project of Frozenbyte to get released in 2019.

Starbase is an MMO title with an incredibly huge world that will allow players to do numerous kind of activities in it. Set in a futuristic era, Starbase offers a world filled with robots and great structures in which you will be able to explore every corner of the galaxy, craft new equipment, trade goods and finally fight against other players in partnership with your friends.

One of the main features that the development team is highly proud of is the world’s impressive capability in getting destructed by players and their actions. As it’s obvious in the trailer, your weapons are able to destruct and damage every object within the game’s world and it will be used by players as a key feature in battles against the enemies to find new and creative ways in order to destroy your opponents. Starbase is being developed by the engine that Frozenbyte has built with the vision of making such a huge game. The engine is designed in a way to allow the developers imply key features of the game like damage system in the best way possible. With enabling the ability to use voxel and vertex technologies in the game, Frozenbyte hopes to bring a vast open-world experience with tons of enjoyable activities for players until the end of this year.

Starbase will be available in Early Access phase in 2019.
