Last week, some rumors spread out indicating Starfield might be present at PAX East based on a survey posted by Bethesda, and the speculation was right! During a panel at PAX East, we got to hear new information on Starfield and also The Elder Scrolls 6, but to be honest, you may wish that you’ve never received news like this, as Todd Howard announced neither of the titles will be present at E3 2019.
According to what Howard said, it seems both of the games will have a long road ahead to finish their development process and its more than likely to wait for Starfield and The Elder Scrolls 6 in 9th generation of gaming platforms. Although it’s a bit annoying for the community to announce under development games so early, they can now rest assured that Bethesda has big plans for these two flagship titles of the company. Here you can read what Todd Howard has said at PAX East:
Before everyone asks, please be patient. It’s going to be a long time. It’s not something we’re going to be talking about at E3, either of those games, this year. And so patience, please, but you know, given the anniversary, we did want to give everybody a taste.
With the absence of Starfield and The Elder Scrolls 6 at E3 2019, it becomes more interesting and surprising for us, to think about what new projects are going to be unveiled during Bethesda’s conference. Some titles like Doom: Eternal, Wolfenstein: Youngblood and even Fallout 76 will definitely take part at the conference but we can also expect a new title from Arkane Studios, which is currently helping for Machine Games in development of Youngblood but it wont avoid them from working on their own projects. Also Tango Gameworks could show up during the show with a new IP or a new entry to its The Evil Within franchise.
