Starfield game director Todd Howard confirmed in a recent interview with Famitsu that Bethesda will add official mod support for the game sometime in 2024. During the interview, the director claims that the developer will support modding “in a big way”, and players will “be able to do almost anything, just like in previous works” such as The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Starfield launched in early access on September 1 and fully on September 6 for Xbox Series X/S and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store. It is also available on Xbox Game Pass.
